I received a letter on Friday from Starhub. Damn, I thought it was my cable Internet's bill. Felt it was abit weird, coz by right it shouldn't be so light; It always contained at least 3 pages.
I opened up the letter and read it. Starhub wants to notify us that our Internet's bandwidth has been increased from 2mbps to 4mbps. So generous of them to double it without charging extra! Cheers!
Now, back in Malaysia, I am sick of the 512kbps aDSL broadband from TmNet. Its just below standard. I think my mum's room is too far from mine, thus the wireless is quite weak.
512 is just not enough. I just hope TMNet will send us a mail and inform us that they've upgraded our plans to 5mbps. Thats not likely for the next 2 years, but I hope.
I thought to myself: How can a country with lousy Internet speeds advance in technology fast?
