Yay, I'm a leader of tomorrow! 5 day 4 nights camp came to an end.
First day and first night, we spent our time on the bus. We didn't interact much. I sat alone on the bus. I only woke up during toilet and food breaks. The bus trip was rather smooth, that's why I was able to sleep and wake up only during breaks.
Second day! We reached Terengganu at 8+. Ferry to Redang Island was at 9. The ferry ride was 1 hour ++. Again, I slept during the whole journey. We were welcomed by the staffs with a PowerPoint presentation. Checked in, had lunch. We presented our groups and were given bands. Every member got one, and different groups got different colour. First challenge was the treasure hunt. Shagged after the game. Under the sun most of the time during the game; heat kills. Next challenge, I forgot what was the name. There was a box and two pails will be between the box. We weren't allowed to step into the box. One pail will be filled with water and another empty. The target was to pour water to the other pail by using only strings given to us. This tests our group work and planning. We had buffet for dinner. Food was good. After dinner, we gathered for 'stars' gazing. Expected, the SP Astronomy club couldn't find stars for us. Since when did I have confidence in them? :D
Third day. We had physical training before we ate dinner. Not very serious training; just some running and warming up/down. After breakfast, we had a raft building competition. It was a speed and planning test again. We built something, but when we were about to launch it, some strings came loose, and we had to retrieve back. We failed to launch twice. Third time, we changed our plans. We succeeded! After rafting, we had some free time which allowed us to do a little jacuzzi, swimming in the sea or pool. The challenge later on was "Eggdrop". People who played before weren't allowed to play, instead, should be 'observers'. 'Observers' had no rights to contribute ideas, only OBSERVE! After dinner was "Talent Quest". During Talent Quest, we were supposed to be presenting a talent; dance, sing, etc. Our group did some kinda singing and minimum role playing. There was a 'cheer and dance' competition too. All groups were supposed to showcase their cheer here and the winner will perform for the principal tomorrow, as a welcoming gift! We won! Yes, the KuKu Warriors! We had our 'disco' night after Talent Quest. Disco? Don't think its my cup of tea. Probably only techno is, not the dancing.
Last day staying on the island. Sand castle building was the first activity. Another activity that requires planning. Hah, If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! After that, we had our lunch and met the principal. Performed for him. After his talk, we proceeded immediately for snorkeling. Oh my, the sea was so clear. Corals were just directly under us. I love it! I'm going for another session again, if I have the chance! After snorkeling, we boarded a ferry that redirected us to SuperStar Virgo, which was parked at the middle of the sea. Buffet dinner by the pool side, after we showered. Followed by a talk by Mr Liew, AG Director of SAA.
Next day, 12am, we were walking around. We went to the Casino. I didn't bet. Just felt lady luck wasn't with me. Someone got booted from the Casino. Hah. Reason being: underaged. Afternoon, had lunch with Director and Principal. Camp ended after lunch. Reached Singapore at 2+.
End of story. Details spared.
